Our principal and staff

Asquith High School’s staff are a committed, high-performing team dedicated to strong learning and wellbeing outcomes for every student. We work with clarity, consistency and high expectations, using evidence-informed practice and continuous improvement to lift achievement. Our focus is purposeful and future-driven—strengthening curriculum, refining systems, and embedding student voice to ensure a safe, inclusive and aspirational school where every learner can succeed

Welcome from our principal

Welcome to Asquith High School, a place where learning transforms lives and every student’s future begins with possibility.

Building on the proud 66-year legacy of Asquith Girls High School, we now embrace a new co-educational chapter grounded in the same moral purpose that has guided us since the beginning: to nurture every learner to flourish, to lead, and to live with purpose.

At Asquith, we don’t prepare students for the future. We empower them to create it.

Our learners are not passive receivers of knowledge; they are thinkers, designers, innovators and ethical citizens. They are developing the confidence, curiosity and capabilities required for a world that is constantly changing.

Our Identity and Values

Our school’s logo is a symbol of renewal and reflects our belief that every learner is a seed of potential. Through education, creativity and possibility, we nurture each child to grow, adapt and flourish.

Guided by our XCEL values; eXcellence, Commitment, Effort and Leadership,  we live our motto, Learn to Live. These values shape a culture where achievement is balanced with empathy, resilience and personal responsibility, ensuring every young person learns not only to succeed, but to thrive.

Wellbeing and Care

Wellbeing at Asquith is grounded in positive psychology and embedded in every aspect of school life. We know students learn best when they feel safe, known and supported.

Our comprehensive wellbeing framework, strengthened by personalised one-to-one coaching, ensures every learner is challenged, guided and encouraged to grow. Through Growth Mindset and Habits of Mind strategies, students extend their academic, social and emotional capabilities to become confident, resilient learners.

Learning and Opportunity

Our curriculum is dynamic, inclusive and future-focused. Tailored to student aspirations and connected to real-world learning, it is enriched by digital innovation, enterprise learning and international partnerships that expand global awareness and deepen purpose.

Beyond the classroom, Asquith offers a vibrant range of opportunities in sport, the arts, enterprise, STEM, leadership and service. These experiences help students discover their passions, build confidence and experience the joy of belonging to an active, supportive community.

Our Commitment

At Asquith High School, we are building futures. We stand as a community of courage and care, inspiring every learner to be curious, compassionate and capable of making their mark on a world that needs thoughtful, ethical and creative leaders.

Welcome to Asquith High School, where learning becomes living, and every student is the promise of tomorrow.
