The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2026 is All In, a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day.

All In makes clear that reconciliation is not a spectator sport and that all of us must step away from the sidelines and take action to make change.

Reconciliation will not happen by itself, and it will not happen without all of us.

Celebrating Education Week 3- 7 August 2026 – Inspiring Change

This year Education Week will be celebrated from 3 - 7 August. Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the incredible contribution of NSW public education and the people who make it thrive. This year's theme, "Inspiring Change," recognises the power of public schools to open doors, nurture potential and create opportunities for every student, regardless of their background.

At Asquith High School, we are proud to be part of a public education system that values equity, inclusion, excellence and lifelong learning. Together, we celebrate the students, teachers, support staff and families whose commitment helps shape informed, compassionate and capable young people, inspiring positive change in our communities every day.

Principal's Message

Asquith High School is entering a significant new chapter as a co-educational school, one defined by high expectations, strong teaching, and a clear commitment to student growth.

We are a school where every student is known, challenged, and supported to achieve their personal best. Our approach to teaching and learning is deliberate and consistent, grounded in deep understanding, purposeful practice, and a belief that every student can succeed when expectations are clear and support is strong.

Our motto, Learn to Live, reflects our purpose: to prepare young people not only for academic success, but for life beyond school. We are committed to developing capable, resilient individuals who can think critically, adapt, and thrive in a changing world.

Student voice is valued and actively shapes the life of our school. We develop confident, reflective learners who take ownership of their growth and contribute meaningfully to a culture of respect, responsibility, and aspiration.

We work in genuine partnership with families, recognising that strong, respectful relationships between home and school are essential to achieving the best outcomes for every student. Together, we create an environment where expectations are high, effort is valued, and success is shared.

Our strong academic foundation is complemented by rich opportunities in sport, the creative and performing arts, and student leadership, ensuring every student can discover their strengths and pursue excellence across multiple pathways.

As we continue to evolve, our learning environments are being enhanced to support this vision, ensuring that the quality of our facilities reflects the quality of teaching and learning within them.

Asquith High School is a school on the rise, clear in its purpose, confident in its direction, and committed to excellence in every classroom.

I look forward to welcoming you to our community.
